■ Registration for International Environmental Cooperation Experts

ERECON is currently implementing several international environmental cooperation programs in Thailand and Cambodia. Experts sent overseas to implement these local programs must register in advance as an "International Environmental Cooperation Expert".

Regular members with specific expertise who have completed ERECON’s courses, such as workcamps, and wish to be registered can be enrolled as International Environmental Cooperation Experts.

Registered experts enjoy benefits such as overseas deployment and free participation in language training and various seminars organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, JICA, etc., which were previously limited to secretariat staff.

[Application Guidelines for International Environmental Cooperation Expert Registration ]

  • To register individuals as International Environmental Cooperation Experts of Institute of Environmental Rehabilitation and Conservation (ERECON) who can promote local programs contributing to the sustainable use of natural resources through environmental rehabilitation and conservation and environmental education/awareness-raising activities aimed at balancing agricultural and urban development with the natural environment.

  • (1) Must be a regular member of ERECON.

    (2) Must have completed ERECON’s International Environmental Cooperation Workcamp or equivalent courses.

    (3) Must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and possess the specialized knowledge required for local activities. Graduate students are also eligible. Educational background is not restricted for applicants with practical experience in a specific field.

    (4) Must be able to travel overseas for at least one week after prior consultation on the schedule.

  • 3. Expert Deployment Conditions

    (1) Round-trip travel expenses (actual costs) from the nearest international airport to the destination will be provided by ERECON.

    (2) Accommodation expenses (actual costs) during the local activity period will be covered by ERECON.

    (3) An expert allowance will be paid by ERECON.

     

    4. Process of Overseas Deployment

    (1) Registration as an International Environmental Cooperation Expert

    (2) Consultation and discussion regarding program outlines and deployment timing

    (3) Decision on grant/funding approval related to the program

    (4) Signing of the International Environmental Cooperation Expert Pledge and issuance of appointment letter

    (5) Overseas travel and local program implementation

    (6) Submission of report

    (7) Payment of round-trip travel expenses and expert allowance

    (8) Issuance of Certificate of Expert Deployment

  • 5. Recruitment Period

    Open continuously.

    6. Registration Method

    Fill out the Expert Registration Form and mail one copy to Headquarters.

    After screening, results will be sent by mail. Please note that notifications may take approximately 1 to 2 months.
